CICED timeline

Since 2008 up until now CICED implemented number of projects and events under the frameworks of the READ Program. It included development, approbations of the tools for education quality assessment, such as Student Achievement Monitoring (SAM), Tool for Diagnosing Teaching Practices (TDTP), Lesson with in-built diagnostics and others. The tools were then localized in other languages and countries. Key partnerships had also been established with donors and education practitioners working in the field of student assessment, such as the OECD, UIS, Brookings Institution. These partnerships led to participations of Russian experts in global educational projects. CICED conducts educational events in many different forms such as study-tours in leading organizations working in the field of educational assessment, distant leaning courses, practical seminars and lectures. Very important role in building expert capacity is played by the Eurasian Association for Educational Assessment (EAOKO) founded by CICED in 2012. Its annual conference brings together specialists from Russia, CIS countries and international organizations. CICED organizes its own annual conference that became a popular platform for knowledge and experience exchange.
